Thriving as a Therapist: Session 4

Embracing Heart-Centered Awareness

14 CEUs for Pennsylvania Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors (including 3 hours of Ethics training)

You Matter. Therapists often experience considerable stress, due for example to their large caseloads, the seemingly intractable problems of their clients, and workplace challenges. These stressors have all been compounded by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Stress in the helping professions is inevitable, even under the best of circumstances, but emotional burnout is not. If a therapist becomes “burned out,” he or she will be impaired in their ability to help their clients.

Through this four-session online workshop, you will acquire practical tools for sustaining and re-energizing your body, mind, and spirit while working under stressful circumstances. Learn to skillfully navigate your challenges from the vast research on how to thrive.
